THE FASCINATING WORLD OF LASER CUTTING
The concept of Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation (LASER) all started when Albert Einstein described the theory of stimulated emission back in 1917. The next major development took place in 1951 when Charles H Townes invented the MASER (Microwave Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation). In 1960, Theodore Maiman invented the first working LASER.
